but when i wake up it seems so surreal
my mind only considers this to be untrue
that none of this could happen, not to me
when all my world came crashing down
you stood there and watched with tears
questions left unanswered as what to expect
only hope its not the cause that'll have an effect
that life will continue on as it would
that our roads will cross again as it should
fate will stand tall and lessons learned
that we wont have regrets by what's been burned
the past will be our forever
along with the smiles will come tears we cried
but life will go on just like you needed
won't conquer you or make you feel unsucceeded
